Summer Internships.
Next summer will probably be the only time I will have to do another internship before I graduate with my masters degree. There are several that I am looking at, with daily newspapers across the country, some of the best. I’ve already made up my mind to apply, I believe I have the experience necessary to perform so of the duties that the internship is going to require. This is a small step in the path of m career. One day, I will be able to look back and say, that I took chances and tried my best to always be a step ahead.
My membership in the AAJA and the NAHJ have really opened a lot of doors. My writing experience with the Pacific Edge magazine and also with Coast Magazine have given me clips and different writing technique styles. At this point I feel pretty prepared, and I up for the challenge.
